Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ SE
One of the top GPU’s for mining is definitely the RX580 Sapphire Special Edition version because they offer the highest hash rates of all the RX 580’s with one of the lowest power consumption. That’s right, we are not only looking for high hash rates, but also for power consumption because it can make a huge difference if the card isn’t using a lot of power. If you have a high-power draw from your wall because of the GPU’s, your profit will not be that high, even if you have a good hash rate, that is because you will have to pay your electricity bills.
Now let’s talk about this particular GPU, it is a Sapphire card and it is a special edition. Which means that it is unique and different from the regular RX 580. It has a much nicer look, the fans have integrated LED lights that light up the cards. Which makes them more appealing to the eye. However. You are not buying them for the looks, you want to know what hash rates you can expect and what power draw. Well, from our testing, with these cards if you set them up properly, you can get up to 31.5 stable which is extremely good because each card will draw around 130 W.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
You have most likely head about these cards because. They were considered to be one of the best graphics cards for gaming in the year of 2017. However, that doesn’t mean they are the best at mining. Of course, they have good performances when put to the test, but they have two issues. One of them is they are quite expensive, and the other is they are not the most power saving ones that you can find.
For the price of one of these, you can actually get two of the previously mentioned Sapphire RX 580 cards. The hash rates are quite similar, a little bit higher around 34 which isn’t a big difference considering the price. They consume around 150 W which is again, a little bit more than the RX 580’s. So, overall, they are a good card. This is a great choice and you can mine other currencies that the RX 580 cannot.
AMD Radeon RX Vega 64
This one is one of the newest graphic cards that were released at the end of 2017. They were a nice refreshing addition to the Radeon family. Because they offered even better performances than the RX 580 line. It took some time for people to find the best settings for this GPU to make it stable and have a nice hash rate.
It is a very good mining card for the price. You can get a lot more out of it than the GTX 1080 Ti. From the initial testing, we can see that these cards can put out over 45 hash rate which is incredible, the one problem will be the power consumption because it is quite a lot.
