Skate's Artwork Background Reports provide buyers and sellers of valuable art with a quick vetting solution for both private and auction market transactions. Artwork Background Reports assess individual artworks from the perspective of market valuation and investment attractiveness. Each report provides:
Artwork Background Reports are delivered within 72 hours when ordered for works by Skate's Top Artists. Reports on works by other artists generally take one week to complete. Artwork Background Reports are provided discretely and without communication to counterparties. Reports do not require access to an artwork and provide a useful risk assessment tool, as well as a context for negotiating the terms of an artwork transaction. In certain cases, Skate's is able to work with clients to arrange for a full authentication, condition or title check, as well as any other analysis that requires full access to the artwork in question. These additional services require the full and expressed consent of the artwork's owner. |
